Arma Reforgeris the latest installment in theArmaseries by Bohemia Interactive. Set in the midst of the Cold War, players on the US and Soviet Army sides engage in realistic combat. The military-strategic simulator introduces new mechanics and multiplayer components that players can experiment with across the game’s two maps, Everon and Arland. Throughout theArma Reforger’s early access period, Bohemia Interactive has continuously added content and fixed problems. The last update was administered on August 01, 2025, and it focused on stability and Workshop issues. As Bohemia Interactive checks items off its roadmap, it’s ready to launchArma Reforger1.0.
As Bohemia Interactive wrapped up work onArma Reforger’s Ground Support features, additional helicopters, and supply system, the game went live with its 1.0 update. The team believes that the game is ready to leave early access development, stating that it “reached a level that we consider ready” in theupdate’s official publication. With early access development reaching particular milestones, update 1.0 is set to introduce a lengthy list of changes that will improveArma Reforgerin many ways. Some key features of update 1.0 include new support services, secondary damages, character reconfigurations, the ability to generate multiple save files, and more.
Update 1.0 forArma Reforgercomes complete with a massive list of changes and fixes that touch upon a variety of features in the game. Everything from balancing changes in the action toAI gameplay implementationto adjustments in multiplayer, update 1.0 is gigantic, ultimately elevating the scope ofArma Reforger.
In addition to the changes and fixes forArma Reforger, update 1.0 will also patch up a couple of issues that concern the Workshop and the Game Master mode. The Game Master has received several additions to complement the list of fixes to go with it.Arma Reforgeris home to the Game Master mode after it initially premiered inArma 3’s DLCZeus. Furthermore, mods can be implemented into thetactical shooter gameplay experiencethanks to the Workshop, Bohemia Interactive’s repository service that’s available for both PC and Xbox players. It should be noted that the changes to the Workshop only affect Xbox players, though.
Looking ahead, players can expect many changes to arrive in the game when referencing theArma Reforgerroadmap. Bohemia Interactive’s next steps include work on the game’s air assault mechanics, base-building features, and destructible buildings that weren’t featured inearly access through Steamon PC and Game Preview on Xbox.
