Save Nadira from the Bugbear attack and pass a Persuasion or Intimidation Check. Alternatively, you may also kill her and steal it, or attempt to pickpocket it from her.

You should aim to do this as soon as you enter Emerald Grove for the first time, as this is a time-sensitive Quest, and Nadira will likely die if you take one or moreLong Rests.
