Blasphemous 2: How to Save and Heal
First and foremost, there is no way to manually save the game inBlasphemous 2using the pause menu –players will need to interact with a certain object that is scattered throughout theMetroidvania map. The object in question is an altar calledPrie Dieu.Resting at one of these willheal players' health and flasks. Coincidentally, kneeling at a Prie Dieu will save players' progress.
Once a player dies inBlasphemous 2, they will return to the last Prie Dieu they visited, butall progress made since visiting it will be lost. Players should ensure to visit these often to make sure no precious game progress is lost.

To use the Prie Dieu, simply approach it and press the up button on the d-pad. Players will know that their game is being saved once they see the scroll icon at the bottom-right-hand corner of the screen.

Another important thing to mention is that once players die inBlasphemous 2, a Guilt Fragment will stick to the world, meaning that the level of Guilt rises. This reduces the amount of Fervour earned and players' defense, but on the flip side, increases Tears of Atonement and Martyrdom Points gained. Players should collect these fragments to get their Guilt back to normal. For those unaware, Fervour is the blue magic bar underneath players' health bar –this is used for special attacks.
Once players get their flasks filled up at a Prie Dieu, they can use it to recover health by pressing the X button on Switch (Y on Xbox, and Triangle on PS5).
Blasphemous 2is available for PC, Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
