Six Days in Fallujahis an upcoming first-person shooter video game about the Iraq War, and more specifically, the Second Battle of Fallujah. The game was originally meant to launch all the way back in 2010 before it was canceled, but now developer Highwire Games and publisher Victura are reviving it for modern platforms. The plan was to shipSix Days in Fallujahby the end of the year, but now it seems that the shooter has been hit with yet another big delay.
TheSix Days in Fallujahrelease datehas been pushed back by an entire year, with the game now slated to launch Q4 of 2022. According to a statement released by Victura and Highwire Games, the decision to delay the game came about due to the game’s ambition. Along with delaying the release date, theSix Days in Fallujahdevelopment team is doubling in size so that the developers are better able to tell its stories “at a high quality.” The goal is forSix Days in Fallujahto bring “new kinds of tactical and emotional depth to military shooters.”
