While the length of each episode is different compared to classicDon’t Hug Me I’m Scaredsketches, the creepy vibes are still there. Of the six episodes out, these characters are some of the most unsettling in the entire series. There will be spoilers for the show below.
8Free Vending Machine
The first episode of the return ofDon’t Hug Me I’m Scaredhas the three main characters get a job. For lunch, everyone celebrates when a vending machine that disperses lasagna shows up. That is until it is Duck’s turn.
The vending machine makes up a weird rule about lunch tokens, which no one else had, and tells Duck to instead use the free vending machine. This thing is in disrepair and squirts out what it says to be lasagna but it’s more like hot diarrhea. It’s not a pretty sight for anyonethat likes food.

7The Carehound
The Carehound is another creepy character from the first episode. After getting fired, Duck is sent to an elevator to then take a psychiatric evaluation of his health. The computer seems Duck to still be a viable employee for the company, so it tells him to put his head in the Caredog’s mouth. There’s a violent lash-out followed by Duck getting spit out with a new uniform and personality.
Based on things that have happened to him in the past, it’s amazing that Duck wasn’t torn to shreds in some sort ofhorrific gory mess. The scene and character of Caredog is still unsettling though.

6Coffin
Episode two focuses on death, with Duck being deemed dead. His heart falls out of his body, moves into the floorboards, liquefies, and then comes back as a coffin. This new character tells Duck he’s here for him and proceeds to explain to the others that they need to prep for a funeral.

This coffin is not the creepiest character inDon’t Hug Me I’m Scaredas it is only trying to do its job. If anything, Duck’s lackadaisical nature about being dead gives off a more horrifying vibe. Still, it’s hard to get that image of this coffin being created from blood and wood and its overly calm nature can be unsettling too.
5Lily And Todney
Lily and Todney come into the picture in episode three to teach the gang about family. These twins are unsettling enough on their own, but their entire family is also worth pointing out. There’s something not right about the way they talk and how they are infatuated with Yellow Guy.
It turns out they wanted Yellow Guy to be their replacement mom the whole time just so they could get a discounted chicken meal. The reveal of their teeth might bethe scariest thingabout their bodies.

4Yellow Guy’s Dad
Yellow Guy’s Dad was an odd character in the original material. He didn’t say anything and often treated his boy with disrespect even though Yellow Guy wanted to be loving. Yellow Guy in general is a pure soul that wants to see the good in everyone. His dad appears at the end of episode three to seemingly save his son from danger and proceeds to eat the twins and the rest of the family.
Episode three, overall, might be the most horrifying episode ofDon’t Hug Me I’m Scaredorany horror show.

3Warren The Eagle
Warren the Eagle is not an Eagle at all but is instead a worm. He enters the picture in episode four wherein he tries to reach the gang about friendship and manners. Warren has a high opinion of himself and likes to pretend he is helping for the good of mankind.

However, his reasons are more selfish than that. His creepiest form is at the end right before he is about to crush Yellow Guy. Thankfully, Duck swoops in to save the day, calling Warren a pesky bee and throwing him aside. It’s one of the funnier lines ofDon’t Hug Me I’m Scaredand a good callback to the originalmusical comedy horrorseries.
2Choo-Choo
Episode five begins with Red Guy being fed up with the house. He wants to go out and explore which summons an old train, Choo-Choo, to the rescue. While Choo-Choo’s lesson about going out to have an adventure is good, he’s far too old to be doing any magic which leads to him dying.
Choo-Choo dying doesn’t stop Red Guy from using his corpse to take the other two on a journey to the unknown. If that wasn’t creepy enough, they use Choo-Choo’s body, later on, to start a fire in a junkyard.

1Lesley
Lesley is a terrifying character because she is seemingly the god of this universe. If fans dig deep enough, they can figure out whatDon’t Hug Me I’m Scaredhas been all about. Yellow Guy, who discovers her, and the others are mere pawns for her entertainment.
She wants to laugh, so she puts them through experiments to make some funny albeit unsettling content. While we, as the audience, can appreciate the humor, it’s not so fun for the three main characters. It’s avery meta momentfor a series that is already full of fourth-wall breaking jokes.
