CD Projekt Red announces that the expansion toCyberpunk 2077will release in 2023. This news comes from the latest financial call, which also revealed thetotal sales numbers ofThe Witcher 3andCyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red mentions that it will share more details on this expansion later this year and has posted an image featuring its production plans for 2022.

The major projects currently in development at CD Projekt Red include a brand newWitchergame and the release of a next-generation version ofThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunton PS5 and Xbox Series X. It also confirms thatCD Projekt Red will continue to supportCyberpunk 2077,GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, andThe Witcher: Monster Slayer, while also conducting research for unannounced projects.

The next-generation upgrade forThe Witcher 3was scheduled to release in Q2 2022, but it was recently delayed due to CD Projekt Red shifting the development to its in-house team. CD Projekt Red did not give any new release window forthe next-generation version ofThe Witcher 3as the team is currently evaluating the state of the project.
