On Wednesday, Behaviour announced the release a brand new Tome, the multiplayer horror game’s unique take on seasonal/battle pass content. The memories unlocked in Tome 5: Unleashed are for the two killers Hillbilly andBlight, as well as the survivor Nea Karlsson. Behaviour also shared that the Blight’s story is apparently a continuation ofDead by Daylight’s Hallowed Blight storyline from Halloween 2018, as well as the Hallowed Blight lore released since.

Speaking of Halloween events, Behaviour has dubbed 2020’s in-game Halloween content “The Eternal Blight.” Between October 21 and November 4, The Eternal Blight will offer up new Survivor and Killer add-ons, including the universal Killer add-on Blight Serum which lets Killers use theBlighted Rush powerafter hooking a Survivor. Additionally, there will be four Halloween-themed charms to acquire.

Lastly, as part of the Halloween event, Behaviour is releasing some newHalloween-themed DLCintoDead by Daylight. The Hallowed Curse collection includes free and premium cosmetics that can be bought or earned. The Never Stop Slashing outfit for Legion can be earned on the Rift’s free track, and the Unleashed Collection is on the Rift’s premium track. There’s also the Scorched Ghost Face set, as well as The Ruffian outfit for David King.

Alongside the Halloween content and Tomb 5, Behaviour is also releasing a free patch thatupdates some ofDead by Daylight’s older visuals. All five maps tied to the MacMillan Estate are being upgraded in this patch, and Behaviour describes the update as “deeper and more immersive” than prior to the overhaul. Behaviour also suggests that more graphical updates will be released in the future.
