According to u/Spiderbyte, there was a drought in the news due to the writers’ strike, so they made what they thought was an obviously fake post for laughs. However, the post blew up after Can We Get Some Toast, another scooper, separately reported thatMatthew Macfayden’s character is named Paradox. It just so happened that Spiderbyte mentioned that in their post, which gave the “leak” more credibility than it had.

Spiderbyte decided to come forward because they saw people reporting that Scarlet Witch and Earth-838 are no longer inDeadpool 3following rewrites that happened once the writers’ strike ended. However, Spyderbite says they were never written out ofDeadpool 3because they were never in the film, and the rumors were always made up. “838 being involved, in any capacity, is a completely made-up fiction by me. No Wanda, no Jimmy Woo, no nothing,” Spiderbyte said.
