Every Disney character inDisney Dreamlight Valleyhas a series of Friendship Quests that unlock as players level up with them. Each set of Friendship Quests tells a story that involves that character.Even the Disney villainsthat are currently in the game have their own set of Friendship Quests. While most of them are pretty straightforward, one of the later quests from Mother Gothel is a little tricky.

For this quest, Mother Gothel sendsDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers out on a mission to find thefragments of the Sunstone, which are located in three separate biomes. The tricky part is that they only appear at certain times of the day. This guide will help players know when and where the fragments can be found.
How To Find The First Sunstone Fragment
The first fragment of the Sunstone can be found in the Sunlit Plateau. The Sunlit Plateau is a big biome and there are piles of bones blocking the bridges.Unlike the tree stumps, they can’t be removed at this point in Early Access.
Luckily, the first fragment can be found near the river on the side that isn’t blocked off. The tricky part for this first fragment is that it is only available in the morning.Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers looking to get this fragment will need to plan accordingly, as it does despawn at 11 AM local time. If players miss this fragment, they will have to wait and try again another day.
How To Find The Second Sunstone Fragment
Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers looking for the second fragment of the Sunstone can find it in the Glade of Trust, which isalso where they can find rice. Just like with the first fragment, the second Fragment is only available from Noon onward.

WhileDisney Dreamlight Valleydoesn’t give specific times, players can safely assume that the second fragment is available between 11 AM to 5 PM local time.
How To Find The Third Sunstone Fragment
The third and final fragment of the Sunstonecan be found in the Forest of Valor. It is located just outside of Anna and Kristoff’s house. Like the previous fragments being available at morning and noon, the third fragment of the Sunstone can only be found during the evening.
Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers should be able to find the last fragment anywhere between the hours of 7 PM to 11:59 PM local time.
What Happens After The Sunstone Fragments Are Gathered?
Once all fragments of the Sunstone have been gathered,Disney Dreamlight Valleyplayers will need to bring them back to Mother Gothel.
She tells players that she will research a way to restore the Sunstone, and players will need to improve their rank with her to get the next Friendship Quest.
