How To Free The Caged Magistrate In Dragon’s Dogma 2
Upon completing the conversation with Brant at Stardrop Inn, he will give you an unbreakableGaol Keythat can be used an infinite number of times. Additionally, he asked a loyal officer to stand guard and allow the players an easy entrance into the prison. Alternatively, it’s also possible to sneak inside from another gate in The Slums, so choose whatever is desirable.
Try not to take anything from the other rooms as the guard will arrest you and throw you inside one of the cells.

Once players are ready, head to the palace and follow theQuest marker inDragon’s Dogma 2to reach the Gaol Tower. Speak with the guard outside to enter easily and go down the stairs to find Waldhar inside the first cell on the right side. Use the Gaol Key to open the gate and speak with him.
After proving that you are the real Arisen, the Magistrate refuses to escape, as he doesn’t wish to leave the cell. He believes that this prison is the perfect place for him since he can pursue knowledge while staying away from the Queen. So, he suggests you find him a place with plenty of tomes.

If players are having trouble because the guards keep getting aggressive, try being discreet while sneaking around the prison.
