They took inspiration from a famous Christmas character called Rudolph, a fictional red-nosed reindeer created by Robert L. May, who has appeared in numerous cartoons, movies, and children’s books. They uploaded a five-minute video that shows their adventures in The Lands Between as Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Tarnished. The video begins with bsmiff’s Rudolph riding a cart to replicate the reindeer that pull Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve. It shows their fight inElden Ring’s Colosseum, where they battle multiple players simultaneously and perform several critical hits.
Furthermore, bsmiff chose the perfect background music for thisElden Ringholiday montage by playing Chuck Berry’s hit song, Run Rudolph Run. Also, their choice of armor and primary weapon make theirElden Ringcharacter look like a reindeer. Most importantly, bsmiff went with the Shining Horned Headband as their preferred headgear, which has horns resembling a reindeer. Shining Horned Headband is the armament used by Ancestral Follower Shamans, an enemy found in theSiofra River region inElden Ring. Moreover, they used the Winged Greathorn as their primary weapon, further reinforcing the idea of their character looking like a reindeer.
In addition to being the perfect armament for the festive season, the Winged Greathorn is also an excellent weapon for inflicting more damage inElden Ring.
