Final Fantasy 16features a wide range of side activities for Clive Rosfield to pursue when taking a break from his main journey. These opportunities for adventure are presented linearly, with new quests usually added after large story moments. The rewards for these quests range from the most common materials and gil (currency), to one of a kind items that are required to craft some of the game’s most powerful weapons and upgrades. This fact alone makesFinal Fantasy 16’s side quests worth pursuing.

The game’s core side-quests are broken down into two types, easily distinguished by their quest markers. A third type of side quest, known as ‘Hunts,’ are given by a specific NPC, and are essentially impossible to miss. By completing all the side content available, Clive will considerably expand the game’s story and lore, improve his storage capacity, and receive all the crafting materials he’ll ever need.
