Every time that a newFortniteseason starts, weapons from the previous season always come and go. With the start of Chapter 4 Season 2, the weapon’s pool changed quite a bit and players had to say their goodbyes to some of their favorite weapons, as Epic Games had to make room fornew futuristic weapons such as the Kinetic Blade.

The Thunder Shotgun is one of the guns that was supposedly vaulted, but apparently, there’s still a way to get it in-game. This guide will show players exactly how they can obtain a Thunder Shotgun inFortniteChapter 4 Season 2.
How To Get The Thunder Shotgun
Gamers will most likely have visited the Sunflower NPC in Frenzy Fields as she is the only character on the map that sells themighty Epic-Rarity Havoc Pump Shotgun. However, it’s not just this shotgun that players can obtain from her.
Sunflower is exactly how gamers can get the unique Thunder Shotgun. When she’s attacked, she’ll whip out her Thunder Shotgun and point it at whoever made her hostile, so, unfortunately,in order to obtain the weapon Sunflower must be eliminated. Upon taking out this NPC, she will drop a Common-Rarity Red-Eye Assault Rifle and a Common-Rarity Thunder Shotgun.

It is unknown if this weapon is supposed to be inFortnitethis season and simply be hard to obtain or if the developers simply forgot to remove it as an elimination drop from this specific NPC. Regardless, updates have been made to the game since Season 2 launched and it’s still not been fully removed, so, at least for now, players get to enjoy it.
Thunder Shotgun Stats
Sadly, the Thunder Shotgun cannot be upgraded, so players planning to take it to the barn in Frenzy Fields to upgrade it right after obtaining it from Sunflower are out of luck. It can be used throughout a match, but these will always be its stats:
Even though it’s a Common-Rarity weapon, its critical damage multiplier is extremely high, so when it reaches its maximum capacity, it can deal a total of 170 damage.

ManyAugments were vaulted with the start of Chapter 4 Season 2, including the powerful Rarity Check Reality Augment. This Augment made it possible for players to siphon health from opponents when eliminating them with Common- and Uncommon-weapons - it would be perfectly paired with the Thunder Shotgun.
