Genshin Impacthas revealed the characters and weapons that will feature during the second half of Version 3.6, including the game’s two newest characters and a new weapon. With the HoYoverse RPG’s most recent version nearing its second half, fans have been treated to a pair of long-awaited re-runs during the update’s first half. Version 3.6 saw the firstreturn of Sumeru characters Nilou and Nahidasince their debuts in Versions 3.1 and 3.2 with both being popular choices for Bloom teams. Now, the game’s newest character is set to join a popular re-run during the second half.

HoYoverse’s “Special Program” broadcast for Version 3.6 would officially reveal the newest characters coming toGenshin Impact.Baizhu will join the game as its newest five-star character, introduced to the playable roster as a Dendro support alongside a re-run of another Liyue fan-favorite in Ganyu. Both banners will also feature the newest four-star character added toGenshin Impactin Kaveh, billed as a competent Dendro sub-DPS with main DPS potential at later Constellations. Now, HoYoverse has officially revealed the full banners for the update’s second half.

HoYoverse shared the full details for Version 3.6’s second half gacha banners, revealing both the featured characters and weapons for the second half. As previously confirmed, Baizhu and Ganyu will headline the character banners for Version 3.6’s second half joined by four-star characters Fischl, Candace, and new character Kaveh. The new gacha banner will beCandace’s first time featuring as a rate-up charactersince her release in Version 3.1. Both banners are set to release next Tuesday following the conclusion of Nilou and Nahida’s banners.

Much likeGenshin Impact’s past banners, the weapon banner for Version 3.6 will offer powerful options for each of its featured characters. Baizhu’s signature Catalyst, Jadefall’s Splendor, provides Energy Restoration and bonus Elemental Damage after casting an Elemental Burst or creating a shield. TheAmos Bow buffs Normal and Charged Attack damagewhile also providing a damage bonus for firing Charged Attacks from farther away. The Weapon Banner will also offer several four-star weapons like the Makhaira Aquamarine and Wandering Evenstar at increased rates.

The reveal of the featured characters and weapons for Version 3.6’s second half coincides with the launch of the update’s main event. “A Parade of Providence” officially debuted today with a variety of unique mini-games featuring both logic puzzles and combat challenges during the event. Players who complete the event can also earn themselves a free copy of Sumeru four-star character Faruzan, a popular support forAnemo DPS characters like Wanderer. Version 3.6’s second half is set to feature another chance for players to pick up some ofGenshin Impact’s most beloved characters.
