Genshin Impact Fans Notice Unusual Detail About Neuvillete's Idle Animation

AGenshin Impactfan has shared an interesting video that points out an unusual detail about one of the recently released characters, the Hydro catalyst user Neuvillette. He is part of the ongoing Limited Character banner alongside the Pyro polearm user Hu Tao who received her third re-run.

Neuvillette has been introduced as part of the Fontaine character lineup and he currently works as the Chief Justice in the Hydro nation.

EveryGenshin Impactcharacter has a set of idle animations that can be triggered by simply staying inactive for a short period. While most of these animations don’t impact the active character in any major way, some Neuvillette idles seem to have a special interaction. A Reddit user by the name ImTheButterMan has shared a video showing that Neuvillette’s idle animation makes him apply the Wet effect on himself. By being inactive while using Neuvillette, his idle will start a rain which applies the Wet effect, and the Hydro user will stop the raindrops mid-air and reverse the whole animation. Many fans in the comment section claim they did not notice this interaction whileusing the new Hydro user Neuvillette.

The post attracted a lot of attention as it gathered over 4k upvotes on the game’s main subreddit. Neuvillette has one of the most specific kits in the game which revolves around sacrificing his HP to increase his damage potential. Luckily the HP drain is capped at 50% and Hydro users usually build tons of HP which means that Neuvillette is usually not in danger of getting one-shot unlike some of theother DPS unitsGenshin Impactlike Hu Tao or Xiao.

Like Ganyu or Tighnari, Neuvillette has a special type of Charged Attack, making him fire a Hydro beam that deals tons of AoE damage. One of his Passive Talents grants him a significant Charged Attack buff for triggeringdifferent types ofGenshin impactelemental reactions.
