Although most players have traversed the entire map multiple times, there is still a chance that they once in a while come across something unexpected. An interesting post on theGenshin Impactsubreddit shows an interesting video of a player finding a chest in a very unusual location. Reddit user thegrayyernaut reveals that players can spawn a Precious chest by jumping or climbing on a certain pillar-like object in thefamous Dunyu Ruins.The video has gathered almost 10k upvotes on Reddit and most replies in the comment section are very thankful since they didn’t know about this little mechanic.
Genshin Impact’s end-game contentdoes not offer a lot of content for players to enjoy. Players often find themselves having a daily routine of doing the daily challenges and spending their 160 Resin on different domains before closing the game. However, finding hidden features like this chest spawn certainly help break this monotony and give players a reason to once again travel across the world of Teyvat.
While the game’s chests don’t respawn, each new region brings new ones for players to find. The officialGenshin Impact2.5 livestreamhas confirmed the arrival of a brand-new region named Chasm. This name of this mysterious region has been displayed on the current in-game map for many updates, and it seems as though players will finally have the option to visit it. Chasm will apparently be divided in two parts vertically, the aboveground terrain and the underground mines. Multiple leaks have revealed that in terms of height, the mines will be the lowest point of Teyvat.
Hoyverse keeps adding new explorable terrain every other update now, with Enkanomiya being the most recent addition.MultipleGenshin Impactleakshave already revealed that the arrival another major region named Sumeru is on its way. The story that revolves around Chasm will apparently serve as an introduction to Sumeru which means that players can expect a lot of new chests in the foreseeable future.
