According to the blog post, version 1.1 will be a significant update for fans ofGhost of Tsushima, bringing several major new enhancements to the single-player alongside the game’s multiplayer debut. The addition ofLegendsis the star of the show though, and the post doesn’t skimp out on sharing all the details about the cooperative experience. The mode is launched by finding an NPC called Gyozen the Storyteller inGhost of Tsushima’sworld, who will share elaborate stories about Japanese mythology with Jin. These tales set up the various game modes available inLegends.

Players will be able to take part in two-player story missions, three-player survival encounters, or four-player raids, with each featuring different objectives to complete. As many guessed, the title will also separate players into classes, with each member of the party able to select between thesamurai, ronin, assassin, and hunter loadout, with each seemingly centering around an aspect of Jin’s combat style in the base game. Each class also has a special ability, including exploding arrows and even a ghostly spirit dog.

As for the New Game Plus mode, it will add several fun additions to the campaign for those who’ve already managed to conquer it. These include a new horse, powerful additions to the game’s line-up of charms, and an additional upgrade to the player’s bow, sword, and armor. There’s also a new merchant for players to meet on their travels, with the Ghost Flower vendor popping up exclusively inNew Game Plusto offer players fresh dyes for their armor. The merchant trades in the brand new Ghost Flower currency, so players will have to save up for the newly added dyes. Finally, Sucker Punch added a loadout feature, which allows players to allocate certain charms to specific outfits.
