TheHogwarts LegacyRoom of Requirements allows players to customize their ideal room in the magical school, and one fan has decided to build a Slytherin-inspired area. Hogwarts is a vast area full of many nooks to explore and rewards to discover inHogwarts Legacy, with many of the latter represented in this player’s Room of Requirement.
A Reddit user recently shared a video showing off the levels that they went to to replicate the feelings that the Slytherin common room invokes upon being sorted into the snake-based Hogwarts house. Just like intheHarry Pottermoviesand books,Hogwarts Legacyfittingly revolves around the four houses of the magical school, and each one has its own unique hub which players will start from. OnceHogwarts Legacyplayers unlock the Room of Requirement, some go there more than their common rooms, with this player deciding to make the best of both worlds.

Reddit user LLs__ has garnered praise for their brief clip showing off an impressiveHogwarts LegacyRoom of Requirementthat’s based around the Slytherin common room. The video begins with the player entering their dwellings from the fast-travel flame as the back of two Slytherin banners slowly comes into view with their vivarium glowing in between them from a distance. As the player approaches the middle of the room, there are four couches of varying shades of green around a green table that’s placed atop a large rug.
Climbing a set of stairs on the side of theirHogwarts LegacyRoom of Requirement, LLs__ shows a green eclectic ceiling that matches the color in the rest of the player housing. Not to be outdone by the primary area of the Room of Requirement, LLs__ then spotlights their add-on which is even greener and Slytherin-inspired than the main one. This second area has several pieces ofHogwarts Legacyfurniture, including dressing screens, tables, couches, chairs, bookcases, and decorations that would compliment the Slytherin common room if the two were attached.
Because of the color options available in theHogwarts LegacyRoom of Requirement spell called Alteration, fans of anyHarry Potterhouse may celebrate it in the same way that LLs__ has. Given that players can also customize theirHogwarts Legacyvivariumsquite a bit, it’s currently unclear if LLs__ also intends to continue the Slytherin themes in the different magical beast biomes or not.
Hogwarts Legacyis out now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X with PS4 and Xbox One versions coming April 4 and a Nintendo Switch port dropping July 25.
