Best Light Cone
Back to All Characters
Robin’s arrival inHonkai: Star Railbrings a highly anticipatedaddition to the Harmony character roster, offering players abroader selection of support charactersfor their teams and the chance to explore new synergies. Robin’s team-wide buffs, which include increases to ATK, DMG, and Crit DMG, as well as enhancements to follow-up attacks, make her a valuable addition to teams built around hyper-carry DPS characters or those that favor follow-up attacks.
While theimpact of light cone optionsmay not be as significant for Robincompared to a DPS-oriented character, players should still consider choices that offer the greatest benefit to her and her team. Light cones that provide added ATK, Energy Regeneration, or other team-wide buffs can greatly enhance Robin’s effectiveness in supporting her allies.

After the wearer uses attacks or gets hit, additionally regenerates 8 Energy. This effect can only be triggered 1 time per turn.
Meshing Cogsstands out as a reliable 3-star option for players seeking to boost Robin’s Energy Regeneration, particularly if they encounter challenges in activating her Ultimate every 3 turns. Despite its low rarity, Meshing Cogs remains one of the top choices for Energy Regeneration, making it an excellent option, especially for new or F2P players looking to optimize Robin’s performance.

Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 28%. When the wearer attacks, additionally regenerates 4 Energy. This effect can only be triggered 1 time per turn.
WhileMemories of the Pastmay not directly enhance Robin’s performance due to its focus on Break Effect, it remains a valuable option for players seeking tohelp her with Energy regeneration, similar to Meshing Cogs. However, it’s important to highlight that prioritizing Robin’s Skill over her Basic Attack can further optimize Energy regeneration, making this choice only beneficial for players who specifically struggle with Skill Point Management.

Increases the wearer’s ATK by 32%. When the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases the DMG dealt by 30%, lasting for 1 turn(s).
As a recent addition from the limited-time event in the version 2.2 update,For Tomorrow’s Journeystands out as the best 4-star, entirely F2P light cone available to players. It not only boosts the team’s overall ATK, enhancing damage output significantly, but also buffs Robin’s personal damage during her Ultimate duration. However, players should be mindful of optimizing her Energy Regeneration through alternative means, as this light cone does not provide any Energy for Robin’s abilities.

Increases the wearer’s Break Effect by 60%. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, increases all allies' DMG by 24%, lasting for 3 turn(s). Should the wearer’s Break Effect exceed or equal 150%, 1 Skill Point will be recovered. At the start of each wave, immediately regenerates 10 Energy for all allies. Effects of the same type cannot stack.
WhilePast Self in Mirrormay beRuan Mei’s signature light cone, it also offers some benefits for Robin, albeit not fully maximizing her potential due to its emphasis on Break Effect. Nonetheless, it can serve as a viable option to further boost allies' damage after Robin triggers her Ultimate. Additionally, its energy regeneration feature, particularly useful in content like Pure Fiction, provides added utility for sustained battles. However, the skill point recovery aspect requires players to prioritize having some Break Effect stats for Robin through sub-stats, potentially complicating her build optimization.

Increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 10% and regenerates 1 Skill Point when the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally. This effect can be triggered after every 2 uses of the wearer’s Ultimate. When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action (except the wearer) deals 30% more DMG for 1 turn(s).
But the Battle Isn’t Overis another excellent option for ensuring that Robin can activate her Ultimate every 3 turns, particularly useful without requiring Planar Ornament sets like Sprightly Vonwacq. Additionally, it provides skill point recovery for the team, with every two Ultimates triggered by Robin. Moreover, if the team’s main DPS follows Robin in the action order, she can further enhance the damage output of this ally in addition to her skill’s buff, although this boost is not as significant or often as Robin does not take any action during her Ultimate.

The wearer gains 1 stack of Cantillation every time any ally attacks. Each stack of Cantillation increases the wearer’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 3%, up to 5 stacks. When the wearer uses their Ultimate, removes Cantillation and gains Cadenza. Cadenza increases the Wearer’s ATK by 48% and the team’s DMG dealt by 24%, lasting for 1 turn(s).
Being Robin’s signature light cone,Flowing Nightglowboasts the most synergy with her kit, undoubtedly standing out as her best light cone option thus far. Not only does it enhance her Energy Regeneration, but it also amplifies both her and her team’s damage output while increasing her own ATK. Consequently, players will experience the most substantial ATK boost with this light cone, particularly when combined with its high ATK stat. However, unlike some other characters, especially DPS-oriented ones, Robin isn’t overly reliant on Flowing Nightglow for optimal play. Therefore, it’s not a must-pull for players looking to conserve their resources while still effectively utilizing Robin.
