As players start a new campaign inManor Lords, they’ll be given a region to govern, a few settlers, and supplies to help them get started. For players diving into the campaign for the very first time, it can get very overwhelmingveryquickly.
Within the first few minutes of a campaign, a pop-up will notify players that theirsupplies are unsheltered and susceptible to weather damage. Finding a way to protect these supplies should become the priority. Here is what players need to do.

How to Move Unsheltered Supplies in Manor Lords
The first step to protecting unsheltered supplies isbuilding a Storehouse and a Granary. Both structures can be found in the Construction menu under Logistics and cost two Lumber to build.Food itemscan only be stored in the Granary, while everything else can be stored in the Storehouse.
Always remember to give new structures a road connection to make worker movement easier.

Once built, assign one family to each structureby opening the context menu andclicking the Assign Family icon under the General tab. Once assigned, the workers will carry back supplies to the respective buildings using a Handcart.
If no workers are assigned to a Storehouse or a Granary, surplus materials from production buildings likethe Sawpitand the Stonecutter Camp will be carried to the Storehouse by the workers assigned to those places. This is incredibly inefficient as production workers will only carry one surplus item per trip and will halt production while they’re doing it. Storehouse workers, on the other hand, can carry 10 items per trip in the Handcart.
How to Customize Storehouses and Granaries in Manor Lords
As resources start piling up, theStorehouse and Granary can quickly start filling up with resources you don’t necessarily wantworkers to store inside. If these buildings are left in their default state, everything and anything will be stored inside. This can result in a jumbled hodgepodge of resources in the same building when it doesn’t necessarily make sense for them to be stored in the same place.
Luckily, the game lets players customize their Storehouse and Granary to limit what they let in. To do so, click on a Storehouse, open the Advanced Tab, andremove the checkmarks from the resources you don’t want to store inside.
Players can use this functionality to dedicate a storehouse exclusively for storing timber, planks, and stone. It can be placed near the settlement or near areas where construction is planned, guaranteeing that workers will always have easy access.
They can then build a separate Storehouse and only put the checkmark on resources theywant to trade, build a trading post nearby, andconnect everything to the King’s Roadso incoming traders don’t have to enter the main settlement, and trades can be completed quickly.
How to Upgrade Storehouse and Granary in Manor Lords
As the game progresses, the default storage space in Storehouses and Granaries will quickly become insufficient (250). Players can easily upgrade the default storage space in both buildings without building a second one. Open the context menu of the building you want to upgrade, and select the+ iconin the center.
