Cyberpunk 2077has all the ingredients to be the game of the year for 2020, and fans of CD Projekt Red have been dying for details of the highly anticipated RPG. Although thegame was delayed until later in the year, new footage was unsurfaced recently that enthusiasts will certainly enjoy.

A smart Reddit user by the name of u/Ninjakilla was able to piece together a montage of sorts of various gameplay footage from a Q&A video that was shown forCyberpunk 2077from CD Project Red. The video itself is rather breathtaking. While it doesn’t present any action sequences, the sheer amount of detail is remarkable.

The footage follows a player traveling through a heavily trafficked underground bazaar. As the player walks past the AI, he can instantly see communication pop up above their heads and talk to them if need be. The UI is very futuristic and clean. Eventually, the player talks to a vendor and lets him know that he is looking for “Placide.” The vendor asks him to stare into the security camera for a moment, and the video footage ends, reminiscent of theplaytesting that CD Project Red has discussed.

While the video doesn’t have explosive gunplay or car-chase scenes like fans have seen in the past, the details and immersion are wonderful, which is what also setThe Witcher 3apart from other games in the genre. The graphics will also only look that much more impressive whenray-tracing is added to Cyberpunk 2077, which was recently confirmed.

Cyberpunk 2077was submitted for ratings last month, a milestone in a game’s development that proves that the title should be well on its way to finally being launched. The game was first revealed in 2012, so many fans wondered ifCyberpunk 2077would ever come to light, or if it would be one of those games that just disappeared from existence, alaStarwars 1313orAgent.

Many fans of CD Project Red are more interested in the nextWitchertitle and will be pleased to know thatas soon asCyberpunk 2077is released, the nextWitchergame will be started. It won’t necessarily beWitcher 4, however, as Geralt’s story was wrapped up with the trilogy. But it is nice to know that the developer will have both a futuristic RPG and a fantasy RPG series running side by side for both sets of fans.

Cyberpunk 2077launches on July 12, 2025, for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
