What this essentially means is that Hazelight studios can spend the rest of the time perfecting any possible glitches or bugs in the game before it is released to fans. Leaving over a month of development time beforeIt Takes Two’srelease dateof March 26th, 2021.

It Takes Twois a game about two lovers, Cody and May, who get turned into dolls and have to explore their way through a fantasy world to fix themselves, as well as their struggling relationship. And just likeA Way Out, gamers will be able to play thisco-op game split-screen with a friendor online. Luckily, the game also comes with a “Friend’s Pass” that lets gamers play with someone who has not bought the game.

In response to this, publisher Electronic Arts tweeted a GIF of the character Michael Scott fromThe Office, excited over the news. The company has publicly stated thatEA never thoughtA Way Outwould be successfulon the consumer level, considering the team was comprised of 35 people. However, Josef Fares should not be taken lightly; his dedication to his craft is evident sinceA Way Outsold 3.5 million copies. So this time around, it will be interesting to see what kind of adventure Hazelight Studios has in store forIt Takes Twofans.

For Josef Fares, according to an interview with Polygon, he is excited to “fuck shit up creatively” within the industry and is even considering deviating from his usual realm to make an open-world RPG. However, Fares has stated he will definitely make another type of co-op game in the near future since he loves the genre so much. In his own way, Fares stated that he trusts his instincts and what he believes in, regretting nothing about his journey in the industry up to this point. Hopefully,It Takes Twocan be as fun and memorable to play for fans asA Way Outwas.
