Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe’s third world is called Onion Ocean. In this world, Kirby and his friends encounter a variety of challenges and obstacles as they journey through this oceanic world. It is filled with new copy abilities, new enemies, and a slew of new energy spheres to collect. To get all of them and unlock as many of the extra features on the Lor, players will want to make sure they get every single sphere on every level. There are a total of 16 of these spheres to grab in World 3 thatKirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxeplayers can get co-opor solo.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Onion Ocean Level 1 Energy Spheres
There are three energy spheres in Onion Ocean’s first level. Thefirst oneis located behind a red star door. Blow up the bomb box above the spiky butcute Kirby enemycalled Gordo, and it will break the wall around the door. Head up the ladder and into the door.

Inside, swim to theenergy sphere, then head back to the red-star door to complete the rest of the level.
The next two are inside the star portal; players just need to defeat the mini-boss, Doomer. After the boss is defeated, players will haveall the energy spheres from Level 1.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Onion Ocean Level 2 Energy Spheres
In the second level, players will find themselves on some docks over the water. This is where thefirst energy sphereforMagoloris located. Players need to cut the rope for the platform, then fall into the water and swim back to the left to get it.
Thesecond sphereis located under the bridge with two Pierce enemies; they look like bees with spears, and players can inhale them to get the copy ability spear.
Inhale one of the Pierces in thisFebruary 2023 Switch-exclusive game, then swim down to the button and use the spear power to pit the star button. It will open the red-star door to get to the screen with the sphere.
It will be located in the center of bombable walls, so make sure to kill everything with the spear before opening the next level. Grab the gear-like sphere inside and then head back through the door.
For thethird sphere, players need to grab the second boot in the level and carry it all the way to the end. Use the little red Bronto Burts to jump to the platform and break the golden box. Then head into the red-star door and swim up to grab the energy-sphere above.
Thefourth and final sphere in this levelis located in the room with many giant eel enemies called Barbars.
Swim all the way to the top and break the bricks to get this last sphere.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Onion Ocean Level 3 Energy Spheres
to get thefirst sphere in World 3, Level 3of thisfamily-friendly co-opKirbygame,eat the rock mini-boss, then go to the next water section after the boss and slam down as a rock with the B button.
Thesecond sphereis located in the room with three possible columns to choose from. Choose the third column on the far right to get the energy sphere in this room.

Thefinal two energy spheres in level 3are located in a Doomer, one of themanyKirbybosses. Players will come across a giant squid under a shipwreck after they get the Monster Flame power. Wait until this giant octopus peaks out of its cover, then hit it with the Monster Flame. This will unlock the star portal.
Go into the portal and defeat Doomer for the two spheres.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Onion Ocean Level 4 Energy Spheres
To get thefirst energy spherein Level 4, players will reach a location where they can swim up or down past these spinning spiky hazards. Choose to swim up, and there will be a red-star door above.
Once through, players will find themselves facing a bunch of giant Waddle Dees. Hit the red star button once and let the enemies fall, then wait for the floor to close back up again. After that, players of this30-year-old iconic game serieswill need to grab the pulley from above. This will release the key from above. Go grab it without hitting the red button on the way by. Use it to unlock the door to the right where the sphere hides.
Thesecond sphereis located behind this red-star door. Swim over the red-star door and the hidden door to its left. Head into the door.
In this new room, players just have to hit the switch, then kill all the enemy fish before grabbing the energy sphere for themselves.
When being chased by the second spiky ball in thisKirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxelevel, players will need to get behind it to get thethird energy sphere. The ball will break down the metal wall at the end of the hallway, and the sphere will be there waiting.
Thefourth energy spherein this verycute video game with cute enemiesis behind a massive wall of golden blocks that can only be broken with a bomb. Players will need to grab this second bomb and throw it at the line of golden boxes, just like in the video below, and grab the sphere from the other side.
Thisfifth energy sphere in Level 4is the last sphere in this World. Players will need to take theoverpowered hero Kirbyto find it all the way at the top of the room with all the Barbar eels. It will be hidden behind a bomb wall.
Now that players have all the energy spheres from World 3, they will be able to unlock more things back on the Lor. Kirby should head there next before taking on World number 4.
