League of Legends: Wild Rifthas finally added in a new Champion named Nautilus. He is an extremely flexible character since he is traditionally played as a Support, but he is not limited to this role. He can also be played Top Lane and even Jungle effectively, making it hard for enemy teams to pick counters for him without knowing exactly which role he will be playing.

This gives Nautilus players an easy advantage over most enemies, especially when factoring in that most players will not know what he is capable of and how to fight against them. However, after reading this in-depthWild RiftNautilus guide, players will not only be able to enjoy playing this Champion to his full potential but will also have the insight to defeat him.
Nautilus' Passive Ability
When Nautilus lands his first Auto Attack on an enemy, it deals additional damage and Roots them in place. Although this seems fairly basic at first glance, his passive allows Nautilus toset up many amazing CC(Crowd Control) chains and combos for himself or his allies. Rooting the enemy ensures that his next abilities will land and since Nautilus has three other forms of CC packed into his skillset, if an enemy is struck by his Auto Attack, they won’t be able to fight back or move for a long time.
Nautilus' Q Ability
Nautilus throws an anchor out in a linear path that deals damage upon impact and pulls the enemy towards himself while pulling himself towards them simultaneously. This skill can also be used for mobility since if it lands on a piece of terrain, it drags Nautilus to the terrain while refunding half of the cooldown timer. His Q ability isgreat for engaging in fights inLoL: Wild Rift, and if followed up by an Auto Attack, Nautilus will keep the enemy snared after knocking them around a bit.
Nautilus' W Ability
Nautilus creates a shield for himself while enhancing his Auto Attacks with extra damage On-Hit. Nautilus is already naturally tanky, but this skill makes him seem almost immortal at later stages of the game. This ability is also what provides Nautilus with the flexibility to beplayed inWild Rift’s Top Lanesince he can deal a considerable amount of damage in the Early Game with it.
Nautilus' E Ability
Nautilus stomps the floor, sending out tremors that slow enemies and deal damage. This skill makes it harder for enemies to get out of Nautilus' reach once he gets his hands on them.

It’s also the same skill that makes Jungle Nautilus viable since the wave clear that he receives isn’t the best, but it’s good enough to make Jungling doable for him. This skill is great in Team Fights since players can hit all five enemies at the same time, slowing them all down.
Nautilus' Ultimate Ability
Nautilus slams his anchor on the ground, sending a shockwave underground to follow enemies and deals damage, andknocks up the enemyLoLChampionsin the path of and at the end of the shockwave. This skill is what makes Nautilus' one of the best pick style-oriented Champions inWild Rift, being able to engage on a singular target without fail, while potentially isolating them from their teammates.
Nautilus' Best Build

This build provides Nautilus with tons ofHealth, Armor, Magic Resistance, Ability Haste, and Movement Speed. These are all the stats needed for Nautilus to be able to effectively engage in fights, soak damage and survive, whilst protecting his allies. If players happen to want to try Nautilus in Top Lane or Jungle, Zeke’s Convergence will have to be swapped out with Sunfire Cape for the extra damage and grabbed as a first item instead of a third item. This buildalso ensures that Nautilus will be useful at every stage of the game, despite being ahead or behind due to the sheer amount of utility offered by his skills and the items he has purchased.
