3Spider-Jump and Spider-Dash

After marching their way through the shared skill tree, players will eventually come across two movement skills, both of which apply incredible features to the Spider-Men’s traversal arsenal.Spider-Jumpisa shared skillthat both Miles and Peter can use while swinging around NYC. When Spider-Jump is purchased, players can hold L1 and press X. This will activate the Spider-Jump ability, which sends Spider-Man flying upward.

Spider-Dashis another skill that gives Miles and Peter another movement ability to activate while in the air. After the skill is acquired, players can hold L1 and press Triangle to send the Spider-Man bursting forward with a rush of speed. Both of these skills are necessary to have when Miles and/or Peter need to race across New York.

2Obtain Traversal Suit Tech

Both Spider-Men have wonderful options to maneuver around the city alone and skills to purchase to make it easier. However, Suit Tech shouldn’t be overlooked for its mobility upgrades. On the ‘Suit Tech’ screen, players will find the ‘Traversal’ upgrades. These offer a bundle of new tech that players can purchase using different tokens obtained while fighting crime and looting tech boxes.

There are ten upgrades that players can purchase in the Traversal upgrades on the Suit Tech screen, all of which are extremely helpful in boosting the speed and efficiency of Spider-Man’s mobility. Here is a list of all the Traversal upgrades in Suit Tech:

Spider-Man using web-wings to glide through a wind tunnel

1Web Wings and Wind Tunnels

Web Wings are available for players to use from the beginning ofMarvel’s Spider-Man 2,during the fight with Sandman. After this lengthy boss fight, both Spider-Man are capable of activating their Web Wings by pressing Triangle. This allows Miles and Peter to glide across the city. But, Web Wings only works with speed and momentum. Without the two, Spider-Man crashes to the ground.

To use Web Wings at their maximum potential, players should glide into Wind Tunnels, which are indicated by strings of wind flowing across the city. Hitting R3 also reveals Wind Tunnels in the city by encircling them with a bright blue light. Gliding through these Wind Tunnels practically allows the Spider-Men to fly for a short period. This is a big helpfor the ‘Soar’ trophythat requires players to glide from the Financial District to Astoria without anything other than the Web Wings.
