Marvel’s Spider-Manfeatures no shortage of strange suits, and with the likes of Spirit Spider existing, it is safe to assume that nothing is off limits for Insomniac. As such, it would make perfect sense if the developer listened to recent fan requests and put Arachknight in the nextMarvel’s Spider-Mangame.

Arachknight is one of Peter’s newest looks, as it was first seen back in 2018. The result of the Infinity Wars event in the comics, which saw Gamora create Warp World and merge several heroes together, Arachknight serves as a mixture between Spider-Man andMoon Knight. In the comics, this is still Peter Parker, though his origin story is changed. Not only are Uncle Ben and Aunt May both killed, but the spider bite drives Peter insane — giving him split personalities just like Moon Knight.

Fortunately,Insomniac Gameswould not need to worry about this Spider-Man’s backstory to make the skin an in-game unlock. As such, it seems like a no-brainer for the sequel, as the look has only grown more popular in recent years. A perfect blend between the traditional costumes of Spider-Man and Moon Knight, the outfit features plenty of red and white. While many gamers have likely thought about how well it would translate to a video game, Reddit user UniverseCatYT is responsible for starting a thread about the suit.

In the thread, the Reddit user includes a few images of the costume, with the photos doing a fine job of showing off what makes the design so special. Spider-Man’s mask, arms, and legs remain red, with no webbing to be seen anywhere on the design. The rest of the suit is white, featuring a hood, web shooters, and utility pouches. A large white spider symbol is also seen, ensuring thatSpider-Man fanssee much of the hero’s iconic look kept intact. With a cloak also worn, though, the suit features the perfect amount of Moon Knight as well.

There is a lot to love about the costume, as it is unlike anything seen in theMarvel’s Spider-Mangames thus far. While the flat red mask with no webbing is reminiscent of Scarlet Spider, and a white hood has been worn bythe likes of Spider-Gwen, the Arachknight suit’s marriage of the two features is interesting. A cape is also fresh for the wall-crawler, as are the utility pouches. Unsurprisingly, plenty of commenters were on board with UniverseCatYT’s suggestion. Aside from a cool look, there would also be plenty of opportunities to add some memorable suit powers for the Arachknight skin.

While there has been no shortage ofsuit suggestions forMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, this one seems too good not to include. While it remains to be seen if it will make the cut, the large variety of suits in Insomniac’s previous games ensures that it is possible.
