Mortal Kombat 11fans finally got a good look at Spawn, the brutal fighting game’s latest guest character, this week, and developer NetherRealm Studios has unveiled the antihero’s cosmetic options for players to choose from in a video shared by YouTuber unCAGEDgamez.

Spawn’s appearance inMortal Kombat 11wraps up the game’s initially announced Kombat Pack of additional characters for the roster, which also included MK mainstays like Sindel and Nightwolf alongside the title’s other guest characters, the Terminator andthe Joker. Fans have been clamoring for a second Kombat Pack for the title, but NetherRealm is keeping quiet on further additions to the roster.

The selection of gear and visual options that players can choose from for Spawn inMortal Kombat 11is a treat for longtime fans of the Image Comics character. Some pieces give the hellish hero a more occult look in line with his role as an unwilling servant tohead demon Malebolgia, while others go for a more militarized approach. One skin even gives Spawn the red and black color scheme donned by the infamous Deadpool. Plenty of options are also available for the legendary cape, as well as his armor and mantle.

Spawn’s presentational flair also draws heavily from his comic book roots, with some influence from theHBO animated seriescreeping in as well. One fight introduction sees him planting the Violator’s head on a pike, a nod to his testy relationship with the clown-like demon in most adaptations, while most of the other introductions and win poses recreate iconic images of the dark hero.

NetherRealm’s take onSpawn inMK11isn’t the first time Al Simmons has entered a fighting game arena, but it may go down as the best. Back in 2003 Namco partnered up with creator Todd MacFarlane to include Spawn as a fighter inSoulCalibur 2’s Xbox port, but certain elements of his character were toned down to keep the game from veering away from a T rating. 17 years later, the Hellspawn is back in a fighting game, and free to be as vicious as fans know him to be.

Mortal Kombat 11is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Kombat Pass holders get Spawn on March 17th.
