Initially, you may have to rely on natural resources, but as you progress, you can unlock and build crafting stations, likeBrewing Barrels,at your base. How to Unlock and Craft Brewing Barrels
The Brewing Barrel is an important crafting station that can ferment and brew several consumable items, such as Beer and Cheese. These items can improve the character’s health andrestore sanity. In addition, these crafting stations are also important in producing Acid, a crucial source for crafting items like Gunpowder.
How to Unlock Brewing Barrels
To unlock the Brewing Barrel, you will need to accessthe Memetics menuand head to the Logistics tab. Scroll downwards until youreach Tier 4andunlock the Brewing Barrels Memetic.
How to Craft Brewing Barrels
Once you have unlocked the Memetic, you will need the following resources to craft it.
After crafting the Brewing Barrel, you will need to place it in a suitable location at your base. To provide a power supply, you will need toconnect wires with a power source like aSolar Generator.
While in Build mode, press X to wire the Brewing Barrel with the power source. This will make sure your Brewing Barrel is functional and ready for use.
How to Use Brewing Barrels
To use Brewing Barrels, you’ll need purified water and various raw materials to produce your desired items. For instance, if you want to brew Beer, you’ll need to gatherpurified waterand a grain like Wheat or Corn. Place both ingredients into the barrel at a ratio of two materials for each purified water and initiate the process. The entire procedure will take approximately 20 minutes.
Keep an eye on the Brewing Barrel to monitor the progress and ensure that ingredients are not spoiled.
Apart from Beer production, you may alsoproduce Acid with Brewing Barrels. To do that, connect a Reverse Osmosis Purifier to the barrel and place aWater Pumpin any polluted area. Add Purified Water and Impure Acid into the Brewing Barrel, and wait for 20 minutes for the process to complete.
To make the best use of Brewing Barrel, always use fresh ingredients. Additionally, if you want to speed up the production rate, build multiple Brewing Barrels for your base.
