The Seraphim were recently introducedinOne Pieceas the upgraded version of the Pacifista. Being the greatest creation of Dr. Vegapunk to date, the Seraphim are going to be incredibly important moving forward, as has been hinted at various occasions throughout the story, starting from the Reverie, where it was confirmed that the Seven Warlords will be disbanded and the latest creation of the SSG are going to take their place instead.

While fans were kept in the dark about this creation, after the events of Wano, they finally got to see the Seraphim when they invaded Amazon Lily. Dracule Mihawk and Boa Hancock’s Seraphim were seen during the invasion of Amazon Lily and, shortly after, the Egghead Island arc followed. There, fans saw the Seraphim of Jinbe, and Kuma as well. Recently, inOne Piecechapter 1086, fans were also introduced to a bunch more Seraphims, and among them was the Seraphim of none other than Donquixote Doflamingo as well.
How Doflamingo’s Seraphim Was Created
The Seraphim were all created on Egghead Island, as stated by Dr. Vegapunk himself. Their creation was one of the biggest highlights ofthe scientific career of Vegapunkand, according to him, this creation is his knowledge at its very peak. Vegapunk created the Seraphims to be the strongest beings in the entire world and, they are on track to become just that. Just like all the other Seraphims, Doflamingo’s Seraphim, which is likely going to be named S-Flamingo, would have relied heavily on Lineage Factor. Lineage Factor is the blueprint of life itself and Vegapunk discovered it along with other MADS scientists a few decades ago. Thanks to that, he perfected the process of cloning and this has already been shown to the fans through Stussy and many other occasions in the story ofOne Piece.
Just like Vegapunk cloned Stussy, he could also clone anyone else and all he would require for this is the Lineage Factor of this particular individual. Since Doflamingo worked for the Government, it wouldn’t be too hard for Vegapunk to get his hands on his Lineage Factor. Once that happened, Vegapunk would easily be able to clone Doflamingo and he did just that, which led to the creation of S-Flamingo. That said, the creation of Doflamingo’s Seraphim is more than just that. In addition to simple cloning, the Seraphims have been bolstered by the Lunarian abilities as well. This means thatthe Lineage Factor of the Lunariansis mixed in there, making Doflamingo’s Seraphim a Lunarian version of his true self.
The Powers Of Doflamingo’s Seraphim
Just like how the appearance of Doflamingo’s Seraphim relies heavily on Lineage Factor, so do his powers. Essentially, all the Seraphims are powered with Green Blood to an extent. Green Blood was also created by using Lineage Factor and, essentially, it is the blood that carriesthe powers of Paramecia Devil Fruits.It must be remembered that Green Blood can only work with paramecia abilities. Those wanting Zoan abilities can be fed artificial Devil Fruits instead. Meanwhile, Logia abilities cannot be recreated by any means and, according to Vegapunk, doing so would require a lot of time and, at the same time, a lot of money as well. For this reason, Logia devil fruit abilities have not been recreated at all.

Nonetheless, Paramecia abilities have successfully been cloned by Dr Vegapunk and since Doflamingo carries a Paramecia type of ability, fans can expect the Seraphim to have it as well. This means that S-Flamingo will have Green Blood coursing through his veins as well and that would grant him the powers of the Paramecia-type devil Fruit, Ito Ito no Mi. The Ito Ito no Mi is an incredibly useful Devil Fruit that allows the user to produce as well as manipulate strings. The usage of these strings depends on the user and in Doflamingo’s case, this usage was pushed to the very limit. In fact, Doflamingo even went beyond his limits, managing to awaken his Devil Fruit. In the case of S-Flamingo, this ability is likely not going to be Awakened. Nonetheless, his usage of the Ito Ito no Mi is going to be very good.
At the same time, it would be interesting to see if Doflamingo’s Seraphim can use hockey. Fans know Doflamingo to be a user of all three types of Haki. If the Seraphim is a proper clone of Doflamingo, then, he can, perhaps, also wield Haki, especially moving forward in the story. Doflamingo also awakened his Supreme King Haki, also known as Conqueror’s Haki, at a very young age. If S-Flamingo has the makings of a king, just like the real Doflamingo, then fans should not be surprised to see him wield this power as well. For now, fans have not seen much of S-Flamingo at all. The only instance they saw him was when he was deployed following the events of the Reverie.
How Strong Is Doflamingo’s Seraphim?
Doflamingo’s Seraphim is likely going to be very powerful. For one, it is believed that to some extent, Lineage Factor also stores the experience of the people it was taken from. This means that it is possible for S-Flamingo to gain control over his abilities much faster than the actual Doflamingo did, since those experiences might already be stored within its Lineage Factor. This was hinted at during the Egghead Island Arc. That aside, S-Flamingo is made to be one of the strongest things in the entire world ofOne Piece.It possesses the power of Green Blood, which grants it tremendous strength as well as skill but also, but S-Flamingo has the power of the race of Lunaria as well.
Just like the other Seraphims, he has black wings, white hair, brown skin, and a flame burning on his back. As long as this flame is lit, nothing can pierce the exterior of S-Flamingo, which is an overpowered ability in itself. When the flames go out, S-flamingo gains a tremendous boost and speed and only a handful of characters can keep track of him when he utilizes this power of his. All this, when combinedwith the tremendous abilityoffered by the Ito Ito no Mi makes Doflamingo’s Seraphim that much more dangerous.
Furthermore, if the personality of the parent body affects the growth of the Seraphims, then Doflamingo’s Seraphim is going to be especially dangerous and cunning. Fans already know Doflamingo to have a vicious mind and his Seraphim will follow in the same footsteps. For now, fans will have to wait and see what direction this Seraphim takes and what plans Oda has for it in store.
It can, however, be said that this Seraphim is going to play a very important role in the future ofOne Piece, delete since Doflamingo is known to have been a very important villain in the entire story.
