The game’s Year of the Tiger event recently sawOverwatchadd a host of Lunar New Year-related skins to some of the game’s most popular characters, like Tracer, Mercy, and Wrecking Ball, among others. The game’s passionate fanbase have also put forth many of their own creative and unique ideas forOverwatchskins, with a recent concept re-imagining the hypersphere-wielding Sigma after his retirement from the battlefield.

The Sigma concept drawn up by Reddit user orloffel_ paints a muchdifferent picture of Sigmathan many players are used to seeing in their matches. The skin concept trades in Sigma’s usual armor for a button-down shirt and a pair of overalls, complete with a pair of loafers. The skin idea also gives Sigma a pair of glasses and sporting a grizzled white beard while trading in his usual hi-tech hyperspheres for a pair looking considerably more archaic. The user later suggested the spheres and shoulder garments are a result of an acquired passion for woodworking.
Many fans in the post’s comment section were quick to point out the skin concept’s addition of shoes, whereasmany of Sigma’s skinsfeature the character with bare feet. Some fans suggested that slippers may be a better look for the retired astrophysicist, with some even suggesting socks with sandals could better suit Sigma’s retired outfit. The comments saw plenty of other suggestions for ways Sigma could match the retired theme, from changed voice lines to different ideas for the skin’s name.
