Some have specific requirements that must be met to find them, such as certain areas,particular bait that must be used, the time of day when you’re able to find them, and more. One of these elusive creatures is the Long-Nosed Unicorn Fish.
While it might seem incredibly tough to find this one, it is still possible, but it will take some time and effort. We have a few tips you can use to make your search a bit easier and ensure you eventually find yourself a Long-Nosed Unicorn Fish to add to your collection.
Where to Find Long-Nosed Unicorn Fish in Palia
The Long-Nosed Unicorn Fish is incredibly rare and special, making it difficult to locate. InPalia, the Long-Nosed Unicorn Fish can only be found along thecoast of Bahari Bay, specifically in the regions of:
These locations can be found on the eastern side of the Bahari Bay map, as shown in the second image above. Basically, if you stick to thecoastal, sandy areas of the eastern side of Bahari Bay, you will be in an area where a Long-Nosed Unicorn Fish can appear. There is no particular area where it will more likely appear among these locations. You will also want to keep in mind that the fish will only appear during the day, from6 am to 6 pm. Now that you know where to find it, you might be wondering what you’ll need to do to get it on your line.
How to Catch Long-Nosed Unicorn Fish in Palia
Unlike most fish, which can use regular worms as bait, the Long-Nosed Unicorn Fish will require special bait to attract it. To catch one, you willneed to useGlow Worms, which you’re able to only get fromGlow Worm Farms, or purchase through theFishing Guild Storefor 10 Fishing Medals. You can also get a few from some quests and items, like the Lucky Box.
To get a Glow Worm Farm, you will first need to purchase the recipe from the Guild Store, run byEinar. He can be found in the southeastern region of Kilima Village, in the region of Fisherman’s Lagoon. To get the recipe, you will need to ensure you are at Level 7 in your fishing skill, and the item willcost 2,000 Gold. Then, you can return to your housing plot and craft it using:
After you’ve made yourself some Glow Worms, you can visit the coastal areas of Bahari Bay to get started on your search for the Long-Nosed Unicorn Fish. Keep in mind that it has a verylow chanceof appearing, so it will take some time before you catch one. You will want to make sure you have enough Glow Worms to compensate for this.
