It’s possible that Nintendo will reveal the evolved forms of thePokemon Scarlet and Violetstartersat some point before release, but there’s also a chance that fans will actually have to play the games to find out. Like with any other main seriesPokemonrelease,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetwill have a ton of fan art made by people coming up with their own designs for what the final evolutions may look like, with artist Bromojumbo throwing their hat in the ring.

Bromojumbo shared his designs for what thePokemon Scarlet and Violetstarters final evolutions could look like. In Bromojumbo’s interpretation,grass-type Pokemon Sprigatitoevolves into a Despurrado, who the artist says is based on the bandidos of Spain, specifically Virathus, and is a grass/steel-type.
Fire-type starter Fuecoco, meanwhile, evolves to Picolebre, inspired by a Spanish mythological creature called El Cuelebre. Bromojumbo imagines Picolebre as being a fire/fairy-type in its final form. And finally,water-type Pokemon Quaxlyis shown to become water/fighting-type Surgull, inspired by Spanish conquistadors.
Most of the reactions to Bromojumob art ofPokemon Scarlet and Violetstarters have been positive, with nearly 40,000 likes and over 5,000 re-tweets at the time of this writing. However, some users have criticized the choice to base Quaxly’s final form on Spanish conquistadors, while others are confused about the proposed final evolution forFuecoco, mistakenly accusing Bromojumbo of basing it off Quetzalcoatl as opposed to Cuelebre as he explained.
In any case, it will be interesting to see how close the official final forms are for thePokemon Scarlet and Violetstarter Pokemon. ThePokemon Scarlet and Violetrelease dateis currently scheduled for late 2022, and so fans will know what the final evolutions look like before the year is out, even if they have to play through the games themselves to make the discovery, though it’s always possible Nintendo will reveal the final evolutions ahead of launch.
