A particularly creativePokemonfan is getting plenty of attention for their creation of a series of athletic headbands based onEevee and its various evolutions. While it’s no secret that thePokemonfandom is one of the most artistically talented around - often making headlines through fan art of just about every medium imaginable - headbands certainly fall on the less common end of the spectrum.
A Normal-type Pokemon from the first generation, Eevee is a longtime fan-favorite of the franchise, ranking up there with Pikachu and Charizard in terms of popularity. While a favorite by itself, Eevee is primarily known for its many evolutions, which currently sits at eight: Sylveon, Umbreon, Espeon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon and Glaceon. While many were hoping for a new evolution with the ninth generation, new Eevee-basedPokemonmerchpotentially confirms that there isn’t one.

Posted onto one of the mainPokemonsubreddits, a user with the handle of u/lizardbreath101 shares an image of their impressive creations. In the photo are athletic headbands based off of Eevee, Espeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon, with each headband their respective Pokemon’s primary color. The eyes of each evolution are expertly stitched in the center, with Eevee and Sylveon featuring mouths as per their design. The artist includes plenty of detail, making the headbands look like officially licensed merchandise. As the caption implies, the artist still has halfway to go, with Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Leafeon and Glaceon remaining.
The Eevee-themed headbands have clearly been well-received by Redditors, with the post amassing roughly 1,400 upvotes at the time of writing. The comments section is also filled with either compliments of the final product or questions about how to purchase them. It is revealed that the headband creator does have an Etsy shop where fans can purchase them, and also appears to take commissions. The Eevee headbands would make a great accessory tothe officialPokemonworkout videothat was released earlier this year.
While the headbands are undoubtedly impressive, it isn’t the only unique form fan-made Eevee creations have recently taken. AnotherPokemonfan has creatively made a piece ofEevee art out ofPokemon TCGEnergy cards. Looking like a stained-glass mosaic, the artwork features an Eevee in the center with the Pokemon’s various evolution type Energy cards radiating out from it, rather than the evolutions themselves. While entirely different from the headbands, it just goes to show the wide-ranging scope of thingsPokemonfans can produce.
