While most of the gameplay inPotion Craftrevolves around brewing potions and discovering new recipes, the game does feature different skills in the form of Talents. The four Talents that players can level up are Haggling, Visibility Radius, Alchemical Practice, and Trading. Each of these Talents has its own effect on the success of the player, as well as gameplay more broadly.
4Haggling
While all ofPotion Craft’sTalents are valuable in their own right, Haggling is arguably the skill that players should prioritize upgrading the least.
In short, whilethe Haggling skillallows players to haggle for ingredients and items they buy from merchants, as well as haggling with their customers for better prices. While Haggling helps players save and earn more money, players are generally better off focusing on brewing better, more valuable potions to earn more. While there’s definitely value in the Haggling talent, players will likely benefit from upgrading it later on in the game.

3Visibility Radius
All of the actual potion-making that takes place inPotion Crafthappens on the game’s Alchemy Map. While players are making a potion, paths are plotted along the map, and there are various markers that give the player important information about the potion being brewed.

Upgrading the Visibility Radius Talent allows the player to see more of the Alchemy Map during the potion brewing process. This is helpful, especially as the Alchemy Map often contains obstacles that the player needs to avoid to successfullybrew their potion. However, players should arguably prioritize other Talents before upgrading Visibility Radius.
2Alchemical Practice
Experience points can be accrued inPotion Craftthrough Experience Books that can be discovered on the Alchemy Map during thepotion-making process.
Prioritizing finding these books can be a great way for the player to be able to brew more valuable potions, and upgrading the Alchemical Practice Talent increases the frequency of these books popping up. Players should focus on leveling up as much as possible when they’re new to the game, as this allows them to craft more complex, valuable potions and ultimately earn more money in the process.

1Trading
When players are new toPotion Craft, they’ll likely find that earning enough money for ingredients and other expenses is a serious challenge. As such, focussing on generating as much money as possible in the early game is generally wise.

Fortunately, there’s a Talent that directly impacts how much money players can earn by selling their potions; the Trading Talent. Upgrading the Trading Talent early and often is a great way to make generating enough income far more viable, which takes some of the pressure off thepotion-brewing processand allows players to explore other parts ofPotion Craftin more depth.
