The other PlayStation exclusive with a 92 rating isDemon’s Souls, though the original PlayStation 3 version isn’t playable through PS Plus Extra. Those with PS Plus Premium in Japan can play the original PS3 release, but everyone else with PS Plus Extra can try the PlayStation 5 remake instead. TheDemon’s SoulsPS5 remakewas developed by Bluepoint Games, a studio known for putting out high-quality remakes. Its work onDemon’s Soulsis no different, earning widespread critical acclaim and generally considered one of the best PS5 games to date.

FromSoftware is well-represented when it comes to the best PS Plus Extra games. BesidesDemon’s Souls, fans can also tryBloodborne, the more action-oriented Soulslike that released as a PS4 exclusive back in 2015. There have been rumblings of aBloodborneremake or remaster, though nothing official has been announced to date. Bloodbornehas a 91 overall rating, as doHollow Knight: Voidheart EditionandShadow of the Colossus.Hollow Knight, for the uninitiated, has a lot in common withFromSoftware’s Soulslike games, and essentially plays like a Metroidvania-style twist on the formula.Shadow of the Colossus, meanwhile, is a PS4 remake of the classic PS2 game, and likeDemon’s Soulson PS5, it too was developed by Bluepoint Games.

And finally, two PS Plus Extra games have a 90 rating. One of them isHorizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition, the fully-featured version of Guerrilla Games' open world action-RPG that includes the well-receivedFrozen Wildsexpansion. The other isTetris Effect, a modern twist on the classic puzzle game with impressive graphical upgrades.

Most of these games should stay available through PS Plus Extra indefinitely as they were published by PlayStation, but others may be removed.New games will be added to PS Plus Extraas well, so it’s possible more games with a 90 or above rating could make it to the service in the near future.
