Bethesda officially announced its sci-fi projectStarfieldatE3 2018, but details have been hard to come by since then. However, a new rumor making the rounds online potentially reveals some of the firstStarfieldgameplay details, though fans should note that it stems from an unproven source.

A Reddit user named ToddIsMyMom claims to have leaked a ton of details about Bethesda,The Elder Scrolls 6, andStarfield. They have provided no evidence to back up their claims, but that hasn’t stopped the information from spreading online. In any case, fans should take this information with a grain of salt and treat anyStarfieldnews with skepticism unless it comes from Bethesda itself.

The post claims thatStarfieldplayers will interact with “multiple alien species” and that quests will subvert expectations. The game will supposedly have heavy RPG mechanics so that the way players build their characters will matter. The leaker also says that it will take somewhere between 70-120 hours to beatStarfieldif players go through every faction storyline, complete all major side quests, complete the main quest, recruit all the companions, and explore most of the map.

Again, the leaker offers zero evidence to back up their claims aboutStarfield. However, they claim that Bethesda will show offStarfieldprior toE3 2020B, and so if that’s the case, it will just be a matter of months until we know if there is any truth to this or not.

As for what we do know aboutStarfield, Bethesda has not released much information about the game. We know thatStarfieldis a next-generation game, meaning it will be skipping PS4 and Xbox One in favor of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Beyond that, Bethesda has been careful not to reveal many details about the game.

It’s possible fans will finally learn E3 2020, but that remains to be seen. Other rumors have suggested thatStarfieldis having some development trouble and Bethesda may decide not to show it at E3. SinceStarfieldskipped E3 2019, it would seem a bit odd for the game to miss E3 2020 as well, but fans will just have to stay tuned to find out.
