EveryStar Warsfan has their own way of celebrating May the Fourth, whether it’d be watching the entireStar Warssaga to catch up on its timeline or be it with some cosplay tributes that wouldn’t be out of place in any movie. For former Jedi master Samuel L. Jackson, it’s all about the threads he wears on a daily basis.

His Mace Windu portrayal gained Jackson the love of manyStar Warsfans and he remains to this day one of the most beloved characters in the prequel trilogy, so much so that he could eventually reprise his role inthe upcomingObi-Wan Kenobiseries. Although Mace Windu may have met his franchise-defining fate inRevenge of the Sith, the truth is it’s impossible not to see Jackson’s face constantly, even if it’s not in his Nick Fury role for Marvel.

Meanwhile, Jackson is celebrating May the Fourth with one of his signature t-shirts, this time featuring Mace Windu’s iconic purple lightsaber in a design by artist J. Pierce. Master Windu’s lightsaber was last seen on-screen flying off Chancellor Palpatine’s balcony whenAnakin Skywalker turned to the dark side, although in subsequent canon events, it was apparently given to a senator by the name of Sano Sauro.

That’s not the onlyStar Warsswag Jackson likes to flaunt, as yesterday the actor was already rocking another t-shirt with a quote that mixed two of his most well-known characters, Mace Windu and Jules Winnfield. The “Correctamundo” line invites potential enemies to be nice and “be cool, just like Yoda,” though his signature Ezekiel 25:17 verse fromPulp Fictionprobably wouldn’t be that out of place for a Jedi Master.

Jackson’s entire Instagram profile is basically dedicated to posting selfies with some of the coolest t-shirts money can buy and for anyone wondering, those yellow things under his eyes are collagen under-eye pads because Nick Fury has to keep looking young for his part in theMCU’s Phase Four andSecret Invasion, or any other movies one of Hollywood’s most prolific actors is set to appear in until then.

WithDisney finally revealing its real-life functioning lightsaber, there no question Mace Windu’s purple color is bound to be one of the most sought-after variations at theStar WarsIntergalactic Starcruiser’s facilities, which might just be what Lucasfilms need to go ahead with a much-wanted Mace Windu spin-off. Until then, Disney Plus has plenty ofStar Warscontent ready, including the first episode ofThe Bad Batch.
