Because of this, there is more pressure onThe Flashto deliver a proper ending to the premature demise of the Snyderverse and set up the new DCU reboot. Geekosity states, “there were also reports that the plannedMan Of Steelsequel would’ve seen the pair [Henry Cavill’s Superman] finally team up.”Supergirl is a part of Gunn’s DC slatewith the movieSupergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.However, rumors suggest a different actress will play the role. It must be noted that this report is unverified, and neither Warner Bros. nor Calle has commented.
The Flashis heavily inspired by the graphic novelFlashpoint Paradox, but Superman is replaced with Supergirl, and Thomas Wayne’s Batman is replaced with Keaton. Fans familiar with the storyline may have an idea of how it’s supposed to reboot, but whether the characters return to their separate timelines or if the timelines (the Burtonverse and Snyderverse) are erased altogether remains to be seen. However, fans would prefer the former, hoping those storylines can continue. The Snyderverse fandom has embraced Calle’s Supergirl and wishes to see her again in thescrappedMan of Steelsequel.
