Review aggregate sites have struggled with “review bombing” campaigns for years, with these efforts typically focused on new video game releases. However, there have been times when movies and TV shows have been the victims of review bombing as well. And that’s exactly what appears to be happening toShe-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the latestMarvel Cinematic Universe TV serieson the Disney+ streaming service.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Lawpremiered today, August 18, on Disney+, earning mostly positive reviews from critics. There have been some complaints about the show’s CGI and corny MCU-style humor, butTatiana Maslany’s performancehas been well-received. Regardless, various sites have been bombarded with overwhelmingly negativeShe-Hulkreviews, with some of the reviews posted before the show even premiered on Disney+.

On Metacritic, various users have given the show a 0/10. There seems to be some effort to combat the negative user reviews, as the show has since enjoyed a flood of reviews that give it a perfect score, though that’s just review bombing in the other direction. Needless to say, fans should take theseShe-Hulkuser reviews with a massive grain of salt, both the positive and negative ones.
The negative discourse online seems centered on theShe-Hulkshow’s portrayal of Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, the show’s attempts at humor, and the CGI.
