In addition to the praise given to Inosanto, who has done stunt work in projects as popular as theoft-creepyBuffy the Vampire Slayerseries, and her fight choreography, many respondents in the thread pointed out the sheer waste in killing off a character who had just received a massive boost in power in the form of the Blade of Talzin. Others pointed out the folly in getting rid of a competent antagonist heading into a potentialAhsokaseason 2 in light of the unfortunate passing of Ray Stevenson, who portrayed the venerable Baylan Skoll in what many consider the series’ standout performance. As they see it, two interesting antagonists have now been taken off the board, with one of those being a preventable move.
Inosanto’s performance was a significant factor in the season’s structure, with her skill carrying two major fight scenes and her legitimate aura lending her scenes a lot of weight even in places where the scripting or acting was a bit wanting.
