Some can also be prioritized above others due to their specific traits.

Resources have always been one of the most important aspects ofStellaristhat need focusing on, especially when an empire is facing hostile threats from every corner of its domain. With the help ofFactorator Shuladun, an empire can obtain a large amount of alloys easily without too much problem with Shuladun’s Forge Focused trait, which increases alloys from specialist workers.
Moreover, his Destiny trait further increases unity, society research, and the trade value of the planet he governs, making him quite powerful in different areas as well. Unfortunately, his Polluter negative trait makes him a little undesirable for certain empires, especially ones that havetraits that reduce their population growth.

Sometimes, an empire will need to rely on a Fortress World to hold out against a hostile threat that is unbeatable at that point of the game, such as a Crisis or evena rogue roaming Leviathan. With the help of a Fortress World, a hostile fleet will be forced to either bombard the planet first or successfully invade it to progress, a process that numerous armies can hinder.
To top it off, havingJynncommanding the defending army will make the planet unbeatable due to his traits. Supreme Warrior enables him to increase the army’s damage and morale. Moreover, his Destiny trait is quite powerful as it increases various modifiers for the empire, particularly a ship’s hull points, although it also increases their upkeep costs. The only downside he has is the Substance Abuser negative trait, which reduces his lifespan by a large margin.

A Pacifist Admiral To Keep The Empire Stable
When playing as a pacifist empire, a player will try to prioritize internal growth as opposed to aggressive expansion, as they are not well-equipped for an offensive war deep in the rival’s empire, especially when their ethics prevent them from doing so.Judge Uld Dagr’sunique set of traitsencourages such peaceful behavior.
His Destiny trait, Peacekeeper, enables him to create a sense of calm inside the empire by increasing stability, suppressing piracy, and reducing crime. However, when employed as an admiral, the Judge will function on the weaker side as his negative traits make him vulnerable against enemy fleets.

A Suitable Veteran To Explore The Galaxy
Exploring the vast cold galaxy can sometimes be more beneficial to do with a high-level scientist who is capable of finding extra resources or anomalies during surveys. Moreover, this will increase the chance of finding archaeological sites that can reward the empire withpowerful relics capable of extraordinary things.
Nasuz Demetoris more than capable of filling in this role with his Destiny trait, which enables him to increase unity passively, while also increasing survey speed and the chance to discover strategic resources while on the survey. His negative trait can be negated by the fact that he will often be out on the field surveying planets, enabling him to gain experience nevertheless, although at a slower rate.

Perfect Strategist For Xenophobic Empires
Every empire will need a Ministry of Defense to complete their council positions, and having a proper leader to fit in that particular position can be challenging. For Xenophobic empires that decide on a pathto become a Fanatic Purifier,Aturioncould become the perfect candidate for that council position.
With his Gray Eminence destiny trait, Aturion can keep the empire size low while also increasing governing ethics attraction, ensuring the population falls in line with the government’s policy. The negative traits such as happiness reduction and trust cap for other empires should not matter too much as a Purifier will be able to address those concerns by simply decimating the galaxy.

1Zosira K’Tun
To fill the Head of Research Council position, a player will need to find the best scientist leader with the right traits to maximize research bonuses from the position. Fortunately for Egalitarian empires,Zosira K’Tuncan be recruited should they find themselves lucky, leading to a technological renaissance as her traits enable massive research advancement.
Moreover, her Destiny Trait, ‘Driven Educator,’ enables her to train other leaders as well by increasing their experience gain by a massive 25%. This will rapidly level up other leaders, scientists included, which will also impact research speed as well. The negative Encryption modifier she has is inconsequential, as espionage is unfortunately not utilized well by other rival empires,particularly AI empires.
