This isn’t stopping Rocksteady from starting to build up hype forSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguein the months leading up to its new launch date, with a series of deep-dive YouTube videos detailing the game’s story, combat, and unlockables. The first of these was released earlier this week and revealed that players who pre-orderSuicide Squadwill gain access to the Classic Outfits pack, consisting of alternate costumes inspired by each Squad member’s original comic book appearance.
A brief trailer for these retro-styleSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguecostumes was posted alongside the main deep-dive video, with each playable rogue showing off their attire while Amanda Waller goes over their mission to neutralize therenegade Justice League members such as The Flash. King Shark wears the dark-blue singlet he did in the pages ofSuperboy #9, Deadshot sports his silver mask and red jumpsuit from his second appearance inDetective Comics #474, Captain Boomerang dons his blue-and-white jacket and hat fromFlash #117, and Harley Quinn is clad in the iconic red-and-black jester outfit fans will remember fromBatman: The Animated Series.
These new pre-order outfits weren’t the only subject of this week’sSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguedeep-dive, as the developers at Rocksteady also spoke at length about the game’s story and open-world, squad-based shooter gameplay. While there will likely be plenty of customization options as part ofSuicide Squad’s cosmetic-only Battle Pass, fans looking for a more classic, comic-inspired look for Task Force X’s resident band of mercenaries will need to pre-order the game ahead of its launch on Jun 20, 2025.
