Like with all Nendoroid, the figure comes with a variety of accessories. Ellie has two face plates. One is a relatively normal, non-smiling face and the other is a shouting face with raised eyebrows. In terms of handheld accessories, Ellie will have a gun, abow and arrow, a machete, and a brick. Ellie is otherwise in her normal blood-smeared traveling attire.
For those unfamiliar, Nendoroids are palm-sized figures about a touch bigger than aFunko Pop. However, a Nendoroid has a variety of cool features like articulated arms and legs allowing them to be posed in fun ways. They’re also held up by a clear plastic arm attached to the base so that they don’t become imbalanced and fall, no matter how dynamic a pose they’re shifted into.
WhileThe Last of Usis new to Nendoroids, Ellie isn’t the first licensed PlayStation character to get a figure.Nathan Drake fromUncharted 4has his own Nendoroid, as does Kratos from the recentGod of Warrelease. There’s also a great Hunter fromBloodbornewith a Nendoroid. Other game franchises includingKingdom Hearts,Monster Hunter, andDevil May Cryalso have great figures.
For those who can’t afford to drop over $50 on a Nendoroid, bothJoeland Ellie have Funko Pop figures, too. There’s even a line of rubber duckieThe Last of Uscharacters from the Tubbz Cosplay Ducks collection. The clicker duck is especially great.
The Last of Us Part 2’s Ellie Nendoroid can be pre-ordered directly from theGood Smile Company website.
