Simmers have free control over all Sim relationships with this mod, such as whether Sims are open to polyamorous relationships, what restrictions Sims may have in their relationships, and whether Sims are happy with their partners. Make sure that Sims lock their doors at night and keep the many new killers out of their homes. Alternatively, a Sim can become an enthusiast and purchase posters of these crazy Sims to decorate walls with. With risks like these, Sims games are bound to be brimming with tension that keeps players on the edge of their seats.
This mod also adds things like fatal illness to the game, which can cause Sims to die unless surgical action is taken. These surgeries are risky and don’t have a high success rate, adding a lot of tension to the game. Players can control the speed/frequency at which these unfortunate happenings occur, and can even manually start tragedies themselves if they choose

Ever find it odd that Sims universally progress the same way with everything (by default, of course)? With the Talents and Weaknesses mod, players can either randomize or customize the talents and weaknesses of every Sim in their game by either boosting, slowing, or completely disabling experience gain for every skill.
Imagine finding out that a nerdy and science-y Sim is secretly a natural-born athlete, or that an artistic Sim is gifted in handiwork. Wonderful Whims alsoadds an attractiveness mechanicto the game in much the same way as the compatibility feature, but this one only goes skin-deep. Customize (or randomize) Sims' preferences as to the appearance of their partner. These features, among many others, are available to add for free on the modders' website. For the more mature Simmer, the adult version, Wicked Whims, is also available.

For the Simmer who wants to change the “juice” inThe Sims 4into actual alcohol, this mod is perfect. Have Sims order a Screwdriver instead of a Wrench, or an actual Dark and Stormy instead of a Dim and Gusty.Have Sims go clubbingin a more realistic way with the added drunkenness feature, which has much more potential for drama than the regular Dazed moodlet. They can even drunk text other Sims.
The Basemental mod studio has other mods that can enhance gameplay, but the majority are intended for adult Simmers. They can add a ton of drama and allow the player to control which Sims are involved with what drama, how much that drama affects others, et cetera. This mod expands on healthcare features and adds elements of realism such as contraceptives, fertility risks, and potential health problems. Players can control their Sims' preferences in terms of partners and interactions, theirgender identity, and their romantic preferences. It can also add a jealousy feature to spice up your Sims' relationships, and take things beyond clicking on the “Jealous” trait in Create a Sim.
This mod pack includes a dating app feature called Meet and Mingle, similar to real-life dating apps.
