The new limited series will shed some light on the high-profile story about the family from New Jersey who had to abandon their home in the wake of chilling letters that were sent to their home.According to The Cutone of the three letters they received read: “It has been years and years since the young blood ruled the hallways of the house. Have you found all the secrets it holds yet? Will the young blood play in the basement? Or are they too afraid to go down there alone? I would [be] very afraid if I were them. It is far away from the rest of the house. If you were upstairs you would never hear them scream.” It continues, “Will they sleep in the attic? Or will all of you sleep on the second floor? Who has the bedroom facing the street? I’ll know as soon as you move in. It will help me know who is in which bedroom. Then I can plan better.” The family had a hard time selling the house and was forced to rent it out until they finally sold it in 2019.
Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale will star in this new thriller. Watts and Cannavale play a couple that just purchased their dream home in the suburbs of New Jersey. The couple puts all of their savings into the home only to find out the neighborhood isn’t what it seems, and it’s too late to pull out of the sale. Watts and Cannavale are stuck while their out-of-the-ordinary neighbors interfere with their daily lives, hiding in their new home and receiving chilling letters from someone who claims to be watching the home at all times. The series even includes stars such as Mia Farrow, Terry Kinney, Richard Kind, and Margo Martindale.
While things aren’t always as they appear fans can assume Ryan Murphy will paint this series as delightful on the surface with some sinister undertones that linger, to give audiences a feeling of being watched. The series is set to release this fall on Netflix.
