Total War: Warhammer 3first launched in February 2022 to a generally positive reception from fans and critics. However, there were some issues with the game when it released. The firstDLC forTotal War: Warhammer 3is the Champions of Chaos pack, which brings four new legendary lords to the game along with their own unique factions. The DLC was first unveiled via a leak, with eagle-eyed fans spotting the factions in a video posted by Creative Assembly. In the weeks following the leak, new videos have been posted toTotal War: Warhammer 3’sYouTube channel, each giving fans a closer look at the new lords coming to the game.

The first of thesenew lords forTotal War: Warhammer 3was Azazel, a Chaos Demon Prince dedicated to Slaanesh. Now, the final character coming toTotal War: Warhammer 3has been unveiled. Valkia the Bloody is a servant of Khorne,Warhammer’sgod of war. She wields a spear and a shield made from the decapitated head of a Demon Prince, so it’s safe to say she won’t be one to be messed with on the grand map ofTotal War: Warhammer 3.

Valkia’s trailer depicts her engaging in battle as she swoops into melee with her demonic wings. As a servant of Khorne, Valkia’s mechanics inTotal War: Warhammer 3will largely revolve around battle. However, she will be different from the game’sExiles of Khorne faction, in that her gameplay will focus more on the mortal servants of the Chaos gods, buffing them up from basic Marauders to true champions.

The Champions of Chaos DLC brings in a new faction with characters dedicated to each ofWarhammer’sChaos gods, and it releases on August 23. This is the same date that all the maps from theTotal War: Warhammertrilogy will combine into one huge campaign known as Immortal Empires. Anyone wanting to take on the huge new map and raze it in the name of Chaos will likely want to pick up this DLC, as it also brings a lot of new units to the rosters of the dark gods.
