Even though theCall of DutyLeague already announced competitive settingsfor the tournament, players can still implement the Gentlemen’s Agreements too. Recently, Treyarch lead game designer Tony Flame spoke on the matter in a Reddit post directly addressing the  Gentlemen’s Agreements for theCall of DutyLeague 2021 season.

Flame also said one of the difficulties in making the new rulesets is the element of pro players' streaming, and how some viewers may react to the changes without all the context. However, Flame said Treyarch is drawing on the pro players' experience to help with the matter, and it is looking for new solutions to “solidify the officially sanctioned content” for theCall of DutyLeague esports teams. He added that more details will be revealed next year.

Flame concluded the post reinforcing the cooperation between Treyarch and other pro players to help refine the rules and provide a better viewing experience for theCall of DutyLeague. He shares his gratitude to the players for helping with the process, and wishes everyone happy holidays.
