While some games can go over-the-top withspells and battle mechanics,WitchSpring Rkeeps things simple and easy, immersing players in the experience of life as a young witch, named Pieberry, developing her magical prowess.
Perhaps even more impressive isWitchSpring R’s ability to provide a laid-back ambiance while still allowing players to feel powerful as they perfect their spell casting capabilities. As players learn and grow alongside Pieberry, plenty of impressive spells can be crafted and added to the young witches magical arsenal.
7Mind Control Pattern
Found early-on as a drop after defeating Alfredo in Black Witch Forest, what the Mind Control Pattern spell lacks in damage it makes up for in usefulness. ThroughoutWitchSpring R, the young witch encounters special enemies which she can turn into pets.
These petsmake crucial and valuable alliesboth in and outside of combat, and the ability to capture them would not be possible without the Mind Control Pattern spell. It’s because of this use that, despite dealing a measly amount of Spell Damage, the Mind Control Pattern spell is without a doubtone of the best spellsinWitchSpring R.
64-Orb Flame Circle
The young witches bread and butter in the early game, 4-Orb Flame Circleis a strong spellcapable of obliterating tough foes in one fell sweep. Dealing 20 plus 70% of Pieberrys overall MAG, the 4-Orb Flame Circle can hit up to 4 chosen enemies as well as applying a burn which deals a tick of damage at the start of an opponent’s turn.
While in some scenarios the 3-Orb Flame Circles AoE can prove more useful, the 4-Orb Flame Circle is superior in damage and is a much better method of taking out tougher, early-game enemies. InWitchSpring R, Pieberry crafts this spell with the help and mentorship of Black Joe.
53-Fork Lightning Circle
Found in a chest alongside the Lightning Magic Spellbook within the Arua Temple, the 3-Fork Lightning Circle is a fantastic early-game spell that rivals the 4-Orb Flame Circle in damage. While lightning spells naturally cost more MP than fire spells, they also deal higher damage, and are great for taking down steel opponents as explained by Black Joe.
The 3-Fork Lightning Circle requires 30 MP per cast, and deals 60 + 200% of Pieberry’s MAG. In combination with the Lesser Booster Circle from the Secondary Circles Spellbook (also located within the Arua Temple), the 3-Fork Lightning Circle makes the early-game feel like a breeze. As if zapping targets with a blast of lightning energy isn’t enough, the 3-Fork Lightning Circle also deals damage to any nearby opponents, making it great for targeting bosses and clearing out mobs at the same time.
4Advanced Booster Circle
A fantastic utility spell, the Advanced Booster Circle is an amazing, supporting circle that Pieberry can imbue her spells with to make them much stronger. With its effect of increasing damage output by 130%, the Advanced Booster Circle significantly increases the damage of any spells it is attached to, and only needs to be crafted once in order to be attached to and boost all of Pieberry’s spells.
Craftable from the Secondary Circles Spellbook found within the Arua Temple, the Advanced Booster Circle requires 1 Advanced Magic Slab and 1 Lavastein Core. Combining this spell with other late-game abilities such as the 7-Fork Lightning Circle can spell a quick and overwhelming defeat to any who dare cross the young witch. However, players should also note that placing this spell onto Magic Slabs will increase the spells MP cost by 100 in addition to 29% of the spells total MP cost.
3Advanced Focus Circle
As Pieberry progresses through her journey, the MP cost of spells can become absurdly high, which is what makes the Advanced Focus Circle so useful. Reducing the MP cost of a spell by 30% enables Pieberryto rain fire downwithout the fear of losing too much MP. The Advanced Focus Circle also greatly compliments the Advanced Booster Circle, helping to take a large cunk off a spells total MP cost while boosting the damage by a large amount.
Crafted from the Secondary Circles Spellbook, the Advanced Focus Circle requires 1 Advanced Magic Slab, 1 Giant Dark Magic Stone, 2 Love Antlers and 80 Clear Crystals. Both Intermediate Magic Slabs and Advanced Magic Slabs can be crafted within the Secondary Circles Spellbook, which is located within the Arua Temple in a chest guarded by 3 Lightning Blue Crabs.
27-Orb Flame Circle
The highest-level Flame Pattern, 7-Orb Flame Circle deals phenomenal damage. On top of burning opponents with a blazing inferno of 600 flat damage, the 7-Orb Flame Circle also deals 600% of Pieberry’s MAG. Intended as a late-game spell, the 7-Orb Flame Circle becomes one of Pieberry’s highest damage-dealing abilities in the game after being crafted with 1 Advanced Magic Slab, 1 Lavastein Core, 1 Giant Dark Magic Stone and 1 Zirconia.
Costing 400 MP per cast, players hoping to spam this ability will rely on either training Pieberry’s MP or crafting and applying any of the Focus Circles to the Spell Slab to reduce its overall MP cost. Pieberry can craft the 7-Orb Flame Circle with her Fire Magic Spellbook.
17-Fork Lightning Circle
The lightning equivalent of Pieberry’s 7-Orb Flame Circle, the 7-Fork Lightning Circle has an insane base power of 700 plus 620% of Pieberry’s MAG. Innately stronger than fire magic,lightning magic is fantasticat tearing through opponents. To craft this spell, Pieberry will need both her Lightning Magic Spellbook and the following materials: 1 Advanced Magic Slab, 2 Lightning Dragon Horns, 1 Giant Dark Magic Stone and 1 Lightnoceros Horn.
While the spell costs a massive amount of MP, costing 500 MP per cast, it’s unlikely that Pieberry will need to cast the 7-Fork Lightning Circle more than a couple of times before obliterating the battlefield. Still, to reduce the spells cost players can apply a Focus Circle to the Spell Slab, or devoutly train Pieberry’s MP through the training mini-games.
