Starting with his damage output, Lingyang for beinga five-starDPS, underperforms when compared to other DPS characters in the game. His ability to go up in the air during his ultimate skill makes him hard to control for the players. Players can face difficulty hitting enemies and missing hitboxes while being airborne, and being in the air also limits the ability to dodge enemy attacks. Due to these reasons, Lingyang becomes a challenging unit for the players and with underwhelming damage when compared to its other DPS counterparts, only players who are willing to take on the challenge or the ones who are attracted by his playstyle will go for him.
