The WWE wrestler has become a fan favorite due to her cosplay talents that have been demonstrated both within and out of the ring. Vega took to social media to share her latest cosplaying efforts and it is definitely one of her best yet. The wrestler posed a stunning photo of her full bodyMortal KombatKitana cosplay, with bladed fan accessories to make sure it was complete. While Vega missed the opportunity to capitalize on therecent reveal of Mileena coming toMortal Kombat 11, it doesn’t diminish the effort both she and her team put into the project.
This is not the first time Vega has taken to the gory battles of Earthrealm, Outworld, and Edenia for some character inspiration. Earlier this year,Vega entered the Royal Rumble dressed as Sindelfrom theMortal Kombatfranchise. Since then, she has taken every opportunity to show off her ability to bring these characters to life. Going through Vega’s official Instagram account shows a constant attempt to outperform herself with amazing cosplay photoshoots.
While it is always a treat for fans to see wrestlers embrace the best of both worlds, it seems that the enforcement of a new WWE mandate may change some of that interaction. WWE recently implemented a new policy regarding their wrestler’s personal Twitch accounts that has been a source of contention with talent and fans. The company announced that it wouldtake over the Twitch accounts of wrestlerssigned with WWE. Twitch was, and still is, a valuable resource for wrestlers to grow and engage with fans and build communities. The new decision has forced many channels to shut down and big wrestling names to hold farewell streams.
As wrestlers currently contend with the newWWEmandate regarding Twitch streams, Zelina Vega will likely continue her quest to produce some of the best cosplay out there. With the next generation right around the corner, she has ample options to choose from to welcome in the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
